Hearings <br /> <br />I. land Use <br /> <br />I-I Wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that Resolution No. 9625, extending the review Resolution 9625 <br />period from January 25, 1999 to March 27, 1999, for Prince of Peace Lutheran (PF3049) <br />Church/Senior Housing Partners, LLC, request for a Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment and PUD at 2555 and 2561 Victoria Street North, be approved. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Maschka, Goedeke, Wiski and Wall. Nays: Mastel. <br /> <br />1-2 Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that Midas Muffler request for a minor Midas Muffler <br />amendment to the 1989 Conditional Use Permit to allow renovation and the use of Renovation <br />red color for trim, awnings and signage on the Midas building located at 2168 (PF 3102) <br />Snelling Avenue North, be continued to a meeting not later than April 12, 1999. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, Wiski and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />1-3 Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that College Properties/Eagle Crest request for College <br />concept approval of a PUD plan to amend the boundary to add approximately 1.2 Properties/ <br />acres in order to increase the size of the Country Inn and Suites building to allow Eagle Crest <br />for a three story addition, consistent in design and materials with the existing (PF 3094) <br />building, within which 24 more lodging units and a restaurant will be constructed, <br />based on the findings in Section 3 and the conditions in Section 4 of the Request <br />for Council Action, dated January 25, 1999 and the Planning Commission <br />recommendation of January 13, 1999. The effective date of the amended PUD will <br />be after submission of all revised documents, final approvals, signings of the <br />amended agreement and publication of the amended PUD Ordinance. <br /> <br />The Council also asked for further detail on additional landscaping along Snelling <br />Avenue and County Road C-2 as well as screening of the entry to the storage area <br />below the restaurant. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, Wiski and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />1-4 Mastel moved, Goedeke seconded, that Ric Cox request for concept approval of a Cox Insurance <br />PUD plan for a 4,000 to 5,000 sJ. office building planned unit development at the (PF 3092) <br />southeast corner of the intersection of County Road D and Fairview Avenue, based <br />on the findings outlined in Section 3 of the Request for Council Action, be <br />approved. The effective date of such planned unit development will not occur <br />until after the submission and approval of the vacation of the needed portion of <br />county Road D; and, after the submission and final approval of the planned unit <br />development agreement and publication of the PUD ordinance; with the condition <br />that a landscape plan, utility plan, grading plan and any other plan requested by <br />the City, may be necessary. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Mastel, Wiski and Wall. <br />Nays: None. Abstain: Maschka, because he may rent space in the proposed <br />building. <br />
