The <br />Chief Cade Enfarcement Officer of the City of Roseville has <br />prepared his report as required by the Ordinance, a copy of which <br />is attached. You w�li no�e in Paragraph 2 of �is report, that <br />he indicate5 the need to replace the electrical system, F�eating <br />plant, p�umbing sysiem, replace the exterior windows and gut�ers, <br />etc. �f'he d�,�el7ing is obvious7y in the vicinity of 50 years oid <br />and comes from a r�eighborhood likely older than that. The home <br />has a�uminum siding and a firep�ace. In view af the extensive <br />effart and �nvestment needed to mave �he home and br�ng it up <br />Code as painted out by the Building Inspector, one wonders at <br />the econamic viabi�ity of moving such a home to a good quality <br />residential 1ot as is propdsed in '�itl5 case. <br />4. The iot propose� to be <br />built on is an excellent lot, generally �evel and with an elevation <br />slightly above that of Fairview Avenue. <br />5. The question here, is one of a value judger�ent as ta whether or <br />not the home in question is apprapriate in character and scale for <br />�he neighborhood to urhich i� is to be moved. It would obviously <br />be most advantageous far members of the P�anning Commission and <br />Council ta see the home proposec! to be maved and view the lot <br />and environs where it is proposed to be rrioved to. The home �o be <br />r�oved is located a few blocks north af Lowry Avenue, slightly <br />west of bdashington Avenue in North Minnea}�olis.
