The regulatory provisions and definitions <br />of It�innesota Statutes 8�F.81 throug an incluc�ing 84.88, as amended hy I.aws of <br />Minnesota 19b9, Chapter 695, are hereby adopted as an ordinance regulating the <br />use of snowmobiles in the Village, and are hereby incorporated in and made a part <br />of this Code. <br />90A20. Restricted Areas. No person shall operate a snowmobiie on any of the <br />following places: <br />(1) On Village streets, except a crossing of a Village street rnay be <br />made i£ the following �re coanplied with: <br />(a) Thecrossingismadeatanangleoiapproximately90degreesto <br />the direction of the hi ghway and at a pl ace where no obstruction pre- <br />vents a quick and sa#'e crossing, and <br />(b) The snowmobile is brought to a complete stop before cross- <br />ing the shoulder or main traveled way of th� highway; and <br />(c) The driver y�ields ih� right of way to all oncoming trali'ic which <br />constitutes an immedzate hazard; and <br />(d) In crossing a divided highway, the crossing is made only at <br />an intersection aft such higl�way with another public street or high- <br />way; and <br />(e) If the crossing is made between the hours of one-half hour <br />aftex stznset to one-half hour before sunrise or in conditions of <br />reduced visibility, onty if �oth front and rear Iights are on. <br />(2) On a public sidewalk provided for pedestrian iravel. <br />(3) �n boulavards within any public right of way. <br />(4) On private property of another without speci�c germission of the owner or <br />persan in control of said property. <br />(S) Upon any schaol grounds except as �ermissiun is expressly obtained from <br />responsibie school authoriiias. <br />(b) On �ny other public place or grounds except as may be specifically . <br />permitted by ather provisions oi the Village Code. <br />(7) .
