This study was to be un�ertafcen by the consulting firm of Banister, 5i�ort, Eiliott, Nendrickson and Associates,and to review the averall syst�m and indicate actians to be taken thraugh the period of t�e 1970's. This study has now been completed and �s submitted for your review. Of special note on the�points broughi out is that the city is already experiencing some problems in supplying neeessary volumes of water during peak usage days and the fact that the system requires an additional main to �rovide water without abnarmai pressure losses. Other items indicated are th� need far a backup source of power to operat� the pumping station and some stii1 remaining missing links in the overall distribut�on sys�em. Roger Shori will be on hand at the Dec. 29 meeting to g�ve a short explanation of the study and point out �ts ramifications. If ��ou have any questions before the time of the meeting, however, feel free to contact rr�e and/or Mr. Short. S�ecif�c consideration of individua7 improv�ments nated in the study urill be reviewed on an item--by-item basis as the needs arise. Qecause of the curren� situation, the addition of additional pumping facil�ties and addition of trans- mis5ion mains will be pr�sented in another item at �h-1s same rr�eeting for your rev� ew.
