Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Proclamation <br />City Manager Beets provided an overview of the Roseville <br />Proclamation that proclaimed January 19, 2004 to be <br />recognized as Martin Luther King Day in the City of <br />Roseville; and urging all citizens to join together to <br />recognize, praise and honor the efforts of Dr. Martin <br />Luther King., Jr. <br /> <br />B. Roseville Home & Garden Fair Announcement <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch <br />announced the upcoming Roseville Home & Garden Fair <br />scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. <br />to 3 :00 p.m. at the Fairview Community Center <br />Gymnasium at 191 0 West County Road B; and invited and <br />encouraged all to attend this popular city-wide event. <br /> <br />C. 2004 U.S. National and World Junior Speedskating <br />Championships at the OVAL <br />Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brold(e announced <br />several events scheduled at the Roseville Skating Center <br />and Oval, including the National Hockey League (NHL) <br />All-Star kick-off with Roseville serving as host to the <br />January 31, 2004 NHL Youth Skills Competition; and the <br />World Speedskating Championships scheduled for <br />February 20 - 22, 2004 at the John Rose Minnesota <br />OVAL; and recommended the public contact the Roseville <br />Skating Center at 651-792-7007 for more information. <br /> <br />4.
