REVlEWEd/RECOMMENDS: <br />The City received no bids for our gasoline requirements and, therefore, we will <br />continue to purchase gasoline as provided in the Federal allocation progxam <br />whereby oux 1972 supplier is required tofurnish us with the same amount of gallons <br />purchas ed in 1972. <br />One proposal was received for the supply of diesel fuel from Standard Oil. The <br />proposal was in a letter �ormat and was not on the proposal form provided by the <br />City of Roseville. In addition, no bzdder's bond or certificate of non-collusion <br />was included in the bid as required. <br />The City Attarney advises thai because of the ioregoing, the bid is not a legal <br />bid and, threiore, shou.ld be rejected. It should also be pointed out that the <br />Standard Oil proposal was not a f irm bid, and. tihat the City would have been <br />required to pay the going price of diesel fuel a� the time of purchase. We will <br />con�inue to purchase Diesel Fuel as provided in the Federal allocation program. <br />Council Action Requested: Motion rejecting the bid for the supply of <br />Diesel Fuel for the City of Roseville. <br />
