REVIEWEp/RECOMiNENDS: <br />° r-3 .. <br />r°. <br />_y: <br />'� i., ,,,,,,,. <br />The Planning Commission at its May 7, meeting referred Burger King's request for <br />variance to directional sign requirements at 215I North Snelling Avernie back to <br />the Council without reco�rnnendation. <br />The applica�Cion was originally on the Commission's March 5, agenda and the appli- <br />cant requested that the matter be continued to the April meeting. The request for <br />continuation was because of the question of the legality of the private roadway to <br />the west of the Burger King facility. The applicant again requested continuance <br />at the ApriT meeting, which the Commission again approved. The applicant rec�uested <br />continuance from the May meetzng to the .Iune meeting and the Commission decided that <br />it should not be continued again, but should be referred back to the Council without <br />xecommendation. <br />Attached is a letter �rom the Sign Company representing ihe applicant requesting <br />that their application be withdrawn. <br />Council Action Requested: Motion approving Burger King's request to wi%hdraw <br />their appiication for variance to directianal sign <br />requirements at 2151 North Snelling. <br />
