<br />Regular City Council Meeting - 02/23/04 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />4.2 <br /> <br />City Council Proclamation Designating March 2nd as <br />National Sportsmanship Day in Roseville <br />Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, proclaiming March 2, <br />2004 to be National Sportsmanship Day in the City of <br />Roseville and urged all citizens to join together to <br />celebrate the contributions that sports provide to the <br />community. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Schroeder, Maschka, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />4.3 <br /> <br />Minnesota Parks and Recreation Award for the <br />Cultural Arts Series Rose of Many Colors Program <br />Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Jill Anfay <br />described program. She introduced John Elholm, from the <br />Minnesota Parks and Recreation Association, and a <br />Roseville resident. He recognized <br />the principals of Parkview and Roseville Area Middle <br />School.
