Councilmember <br />Schroeder noted the need for the City Council to continue <br />to examine public policy as it relates to condemnation and <br />the City's Comprehensive Plan, opining his personal <br />support in order to move forward. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Original Motion as amended) <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: Kough. <br /> <br />8.b Financing Concerns for the Twin Lakes Development <br />The staff report was acknowledged, but no discussion <br />ensued. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Approving Change Orders for the Building Project <br />Public Works Director and City Hall Construction Project <br />Manager Duane Schwartz briefly reviewed the Change Orders <br />and Alternate recommended by staff. Mr. Schwartz reviewed the <br />status of the construction contingency fund; estimating that the <br />Public Safety/Police Department portion of the project was <br />approximately five weeks from completion and he anticipated <br />minimal changes in the project; and the only additional Change <br />Orders would be related to unforeseen issues during the remodel <br />of the City Hall, noting the contingency should prove sufficient. <br /> <br />Discussion included landscaping aesthetics and possible <br />participation by staff in landscaping concepts. <br /> <br />Financing Twin <br />Lakes Development <br /> <br />Approving Change <br />Orders for the <br />Building Project <br />
