<br />Regular City Council Meeting - 03/29/04 <br />Minutes - Page 29 <br /> <br />more efficient. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined that if the study session had too <br />many items for discussion, additional special meetings be <br />scheduled, allowing staff to make those discretionary decisions. <br /> <br />City Manager duly noted Council comments; and further noted <br />the April 3, 2004 Special Meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Fairview <br />Community Center that represented the first of two Community <br />Town Hall meetings to receive public comment on various <br />community issues and concerns. Mr. Beets noted that residents <br />[west of Lexington] east of Fairview had received post card <br />notice of the meeting in addition to other forms of advertising of <br />the event. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder requested a copy of the post card <br />notice. <br /> <br />No formal action required. <br /> <br />Upcoming Special Municipal Election <br />Councilmember Maschka reminded residents that Absentee <br />Ballots were available at City Hall for the upcoming Special <br />Municipal Election. <br /> <br />12.
