AUI'HORIZING THE MAYOR TO FTLE T�iE 5 YEAR PROGlZAM FOR PARKS AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENTS WITH THE STATE OF MINNESO'FA, OF�ICE OF LQCAL AND iIRBAN AFFAIRS OF THE STATE P%ANIVING AGENCY WH�REAS, tYie Land ancl Water Gonservation Fund Ac� (LAiYCdN) and the State Natural Resources Fund provide for grants to assist local puhlic bodies in the acquisz�ion and development o£ outdoor recreation; and WHEREAS, �he Ru1es and Reguiatians for LAWCflN and the State Natural Resources Fund provide criteria that appZications must meet; and WH�REAS, in order £or the proposed praject to be eiigzble for approval, thexe must be prao� that it is part of a comprehensive outdoor recreation plan and 5-year action program; and Wi-�EREAS, the City of Roseva.7.le has a 5 year action progxam, which includes additions to Central Park, NOW, THEl2EFORE, BE IT H�REBY R�CSdLVED BY THE COUNCIL 0� THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, that the Ma�or of the City of Roseville is hereby autharized to �iie this 5 year action program fox paxks and xecrea��on improvements with the State of Ma.nnesota, Off ice ai Local and Uxban Affairs of 'the 5tate Planning Agency. The mation for t he aodption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member and upon a vote being taken the following voted zn favor thereof; and the £olZowing voted aga.inst the same: WHEREUPON, said resoiut�.on was duly passed and adopted.
