City Council Regular Meeting - 07/11/05 Minutes - Page 7 public that the City of Roseville had received the Presentation Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the current Award fiscal year from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). Acting Mayor Maschka presented the award to Finance Director Chris Miller and congratulated him and staff. Mr. Miller noted that this was the 8th consecutive year the City had been awarded; and was further awarded the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report Award for the 24th . consecutive year. 5.b National Night Out Proclamation City Manager Beets, read a proposed proclamation related to National Night Out. National Night Out Proclamation Schroeder moved, Maschka seconded, approval of the proclamation declaring Tuesday, August 2, 2005 as "National Night Out" in Roseville; and calling upon all Roseville citizens to join Roseville Neighborhood Watch Groups, and the National Association of Town Watch in supporting the 22nd Annual National Night Out. Mr. Beets noted that block and association application materials and additional information could be obtained by calling Heather Darby at 651-792-7209, or via the City's Website under the Police Department. Mr. Beets further noted that "Family Night Out in Central Park" was scheduled for Monday, August 1, 2005, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., with numerous family activities planned as a preamble to the "National Night Out" the following evenmg.
