Councilmember Schroeder encouraged
residents to "use it or lose it," noting reduction in routes
would only further inflate fuel costs and create additional
traffic congestion.

6.

Continuation of the Public Hearing on Lovell Reconstruction
Acting Mayor Maschka opened the Public Hearing at 6:25 p.m.

City Engineer Debra Bloom reviewed the background and
location of Neighborhood 32 proposed improvements for
Chatsworth Street (Lovell Avenue to Grandview Avenue) and
Lovell Avenue (Cul-de-sac to Chatsworth Street). Ms. Bloom
noted that staff had been facilitating further discussions between
representatives of the Rose of Sharon Nursing Home and Real
Life Church. Staff was recommending that the project be
included in the bidding for the South Owasso Boulevard or
Roselawn improvement contracts. Staff provided several
alternatives, noting that a consensus should be forthcoming, but
had not yet been achieved between the parties; in additional to

Continuation of the
Public Hearing on
Lovell
Reconstruction

Continued to
8/08/05
