90.060. Intersections. P�o snowmobile sha21 enter anv uncontrolled intersection without <br />making a comp ete stop. The operator shall then yield the right of way to any vehicles or <br />pedestrians at the intersection, or so close to the intersection as to constitute an <br />immediate hazard. <br />,� 90.070. A�ersan 14 <br />years of age or older, but less than 18 years of age, may operate a snowmobile on streets <br />as permit�ed under this ordinance a.r�d make a direct crossing of such streets on�y if he has <br />in his immediate passessian a vaiid snnwmobile safety certificate issued by the Cnmmiss3oner <br />of Cor�servation as provided by Minnesota Statutes 84.86 {fi). <br />9a.O8D. Owners Res onsibiiit . It is unZawfu� for tf�e owner of a snawmabile to �ermit the <br />sttowmobile to e operate contrary �n the provisior�s of this section. <br />9Q.090. Additional Regulatians: Any of the following shall be an unlawful act: <br />3. Using a snowmobile tv tow any person or thing in a�ublic street ar highwa.y except <br />through use of a rigid tow bar attached to the rear of '�he snowmobile. <br />2. Operating a snowmabile within One Hundred (100) feet of any fisherman, �edestrian, skating <br />rink or slidinq rink where the operation would conflict with use or endanger other persons or <br />operation. <br />9p.100. Equipment. A1l snowmobiles o�erated within the Villaqe shall have the fo1loH�ing <br />equipment: <br />1. Srakes adequate to contrai the movement of and ta stop and ho�d �he snowmobile under any <br />condition af operation. <br />2. A safety or so-called "deadman" throttle in operatinq condition, A safe�y or "de«�imah"'E <br />throttle is defined as a device wt�ich when pressure is removed from the engine accelerator <br />ar throttle, causes the motor to be disengaged from the driving track. <br />3. When operated between the hours of one-half hpur af�er sunset to one-half hour before <br />sunrise or at times of reduced visibility, at ieas� one clear lamp attached to the front, <br />wiih sufficient intensity to reveal persons and vehieles at a distance of at least 100 feet <br />ahead during the hours of darkness under normal atmospher�ic conditions. Such head lam� shall be <br />so aimed that glaring rays are not projected into the eyes of an oncaminQ snowrnobi3e operator. <br />It sha11 also be equipped with at least one red tail lamp having a minimum candlepower of <br />sufficient intensity to exhibit a red ligh� plainly visible from a distance of 500 feet �a <br />the rear during hours of darkness under normal atmospheric conditions. <br />4. A pennani flag or red or glaze material, at leasi 144 square inches in area, at a height <br />of not less than 6 feet from the gra�nd level at any time when the vehicle is o�erated on <br />public streets. <br />5.
