February 3, 1975 <br />T0: City Council <br />F420M: City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Ramsey County Snowmobiling Ordinance <br />Attached is a copy of the Police Chief's review of the proposed <br />ordinance, copy oi the proposed ordinance and other supp�emental <br />information pxovided by the County. <br />The Police Chief's comments relate to enforcement regulations and <br />is suggesting that if the Coun�y ordinance is approved, such <br />regulations should be considered for the City. <br />The proposed County ordinance would permit snowmobiling on all the <br />lakes under County control. Presently, snowmobiling is permitted <br />only on Lake Owasso. <br />The County will hold a public hearing on this proposed ordinance <br />at 7:30 P.M., February 10. There is a Council mee�.ing scheduled <br />for that evening. A wrifiten position, if any, could be submitted <br />by mail, or Mr. Goneau ar Mr. Itog could appear on behalf of the <br />Council. <br />Att. <br />
