And if so, what is most <br />useful? <br /> <br />Comment post cards were also available at each of the <br />department tables for residents to share compliments or concerns <br />about a specific department; along with staff business cards. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing noted that this type of public forum was just <br />being initiated and asked the audience for their patience and <br />understanding in format and content of the meeting. Mayor <br />Klausing requested that City Manager Beets introduce the City <br />staff, along with a brief description of the duties of each <br />department. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets then thanked residents for commg and <br />solicited their comments regarding City services. <br /> <br />Staff present and introduced included: Recording Secretary <br />Sheila Stowell; Communications Specialist and Elections <br />Coordinator Carolyn Curti; Fire Chief Rich Gasaway and Deputy <br />Fire Chief Tim O'Neill representing the Fire Department; <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch; Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority Commissioner Jill Bean; Public <br />Works Director and City Hall Construction Project Manager <br />Duane Schwartz; City Engineer Debra Bloom; Police Chief <br />Carol Sletner and Community Relations Coordinator Heather <br />Darby; Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke; and <br />Finance Director Chris Miller. City Manager Beets also <br />recognized several Advisory Commission members manning <br />tables, including Parks and Recreation Commissioners Al Sands, <br />Mark Kamrath and Richard Jacobson. <br />
