R E S 0 L U T I � N <br />ROSEVILLE HUMAN RTGFiTS CON1NffS5I0N <br />May 8, 1974 <br />WHEREAS, more than half the population of the City <br />of Roseville is made up of females, and <br />1�REAS, the ordinance establishing the Roseville <br />Human Rights Coimnission assures the full <br />participation in the af£airs of the commLmity <br />�or all citizens; <br />NOW, TE�REFORE, BE IT RESOLV�D that the Roseville I�i.�nan <br />Ri.ghts Commission urges the Mayor and Council <br />upon making appointments to City Commissions and <br />Citizen Advisory Committees to give careful <br />considera�ion to the selection of qualified <br />women appointees to serve in proportion to their <br />represeniation in the total population of the <br />City of Roseville, and <br />BE IT FURTE�R RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council are <br />urged to develop procedural standards for making <br />appointments �o Coimnissions and Citizen Advisory <br />Conun.i.ttees to assure that the most qualified <br />individuals availabie have an opportLmity to serve <br />the needs and interest of the entire co�n�ity. <br />�r � � � * � x � � � � � t <br />
