Tf this Ordinance is adopted an application <br />for an "on sale" liquor license need only be accompanied .w�th a <br />$500.00 deposit and not a$5, �00. 00 deposit. <br />Also the audit showing the sales of food as compared to sales of <br />1�Tquor for renewa], app].ications would nat necessaril� have to be <br />done by a certified pubiic accountant but anly have to be done in <br />a manner wh�ch would satisfy th� City Manager as to its accuracy <br />and �urther the 12 month period could be any 12 month period t.hat <br />ends withzn the last calendar year af their operation. <br />We would like to point out the following to the Councfl, These <br />are some of the changes that have been made in the liquor laws <br />by fhe I974 session of the legislature. <br />The City of Ro s�ville �nay now is sue up to 18 "on sale" l�quor <br />licenses. TY�s i.s i.n addition to ciub licenses. <br />About the oniy restrzction rerr►afning on the City of Roseville or <br />an� other muni.cipality operating municipal ].i.quor is that the liquor <br />].icenses for "on sale" may be issued only to hotels or restaurants. <br />The defi.nition of restaurants, however, has been chang�d.
