REVIEWED/RECOMMENDS: <br />��� <br />The City, currently, has 20.25 miles of roadways designated as Minnesota <br />5tate Aid Streets of a possible 21.30 miles. With the recent approval of the <br />new City Hai1, studies have been conducteci to determine tl�e po�ential for a <br />roadway through the Civic Center complex to determine if this roadway tivould <br />be appropriat� fox addition to �he id.S.A. System. It was £ound that this <br />one-quarter mile of roadway between Waodhill Urive and County Road C tioould <br />carry over 1900 vehicles per day, which is higher that. any roadway currently <br />on the �4.S.A. System, east o£ Hamline Avenue. Because of the iact that this <br />is �he direct and sole feeder to the entire governmental comg3ex and will be <br />so vital to serving the citizenry, it woulc� seem appropriate to have this be <br />added to the A9.S.A. System. As resolution accompanies this report which <br />would request tlre State to cansider the addztion of Civic Center Drive to <br />the system. <br />Recommended Action: Approve a resolution requesting the Afinnesota <br />Highway Department ta add Civic Center Dra.ve <br />from 4Voodhill Drive to County Road C to the <br />Ai.S,A. System. <br />
