Ther� m�st be a loop 6 ir�ch un�erground system prav�ded for fire figi�ting and domestic purposes. The system should extend up the �orth roadti,�ay and loop back to the souti� road back to Lexington Avenue. Eigi�t standard f�re hydranis must be pro- vid�d along the roadway system, spaced a maximum of 350 feet apart. 2. Provide a 4 incn dry �andergro�rzd fire main alang the south side of th� sauth roadway with a fire department siamese connection at the south side of the south driveway. 7his fire main is to be connected to a dry de7uge syst�m to be installed around tne new �iquified petro7e�am storage tank. This protection system is necessary �o provide immediate 4�ater spray on the storage tank in the event of a�ire, ihis is a relatively new require- ment and was formu1ated after the Wesfi St. Paul disaster invvl�ing L.P. Gas a�d the �ire Depar�ment's inal�iiity to apply water to the iiquified pe��tro�eum storaqe tank. 3. The praposed three 1.,Op0 gailan L.P. gas tanlcs along the south side of the proper~ty ar� not acceptable. These three tanks �rovide t�ree times the exposure and hazard prablems that a si€�gTe tanEc wauid present. In 7ieu �f the three separate storage tan[cs, we recommend that one 15,000 g�ilon L.�. gas storage tank be insta�l�d �o pravide ad��uate fuel fa�~ the heating syst�ms V�ithin the mabil homes. The State a�d local fire codes req�ir� that the storage tandc have a s�t- back minim�m of 5Q feet from any praperty lin� �,rhich m�y b� buiIt upon and 50 feet �rom any building or group of build�ngs. ihe present plans s�ow the L.n. Gas tanks approximately 10 ��t off from the rigt�t- of-�ay on Rose Plac�. This location wilI be acc�ptable if Rose Place is vacated and a r�strict7on be placed on the deed to prevent any building within 5a teet of th� L.P, storage tanks.
