<br />Best Management Practices and Special Studies <br />Heart of the City, Stormwater Low-Impact Development Plan and Guide <br /> Prepared stormwater plan and guide manual <br />Manual Burnsville, Minn. <br />for the Heart of the City redevelopment project, providing a mor- <br />depth look at HOC requirements, advantages/disadvantages of LID <br />practices, specific BMP recommendations for the HOC, design <br />information, and a worksheet process to evaluate if LID practice <br />meet the HOC requirements. Also prepared cost estimates and a ME <br />Grant Application for which the City was awarded $75,000 by the <br />Metropolitan Council. The second phase of the project includes <br />reviewing development plans, developing construction specificati <br />maintenance agreements, and assisting the City with administrati <br />the MEP Grant cost-share program. <br />Sweeney Lake TMDL Study Bassett Creek Watershed Management <br />SEH lead this TMDL study in cooperation with, City of <br />Commission. <br />Golden Valley, the MPCA, and local residents to assess the loadi <br />contributions for this urban lake. The lake is impaired for nutrients. <br />nd <br /> BMP design <br />Marquette and 2Avenues Transitway Minneapolis, Minn. <br />to reduce stormwater run-off and protect the Mississippi River as well as <br />increase the growth of healthy trees. Pervious pavers were used <br />Silva-cells to provide a water quality treatment filter and room for root <br />growth. <br />XP-SWMM Storm Sewer System Modeling Minneapolis, Minn. <br />Hydrologic and hydraulic a <br />nalysis of complex storm sewer systems <br />comprised of multiple pipes, pumps and holding areas. All projec <br />summarized in separate reports to the City that discussed floodi <br />storm sewer problem areas, and recommendations for improvements <br />costs estimates, charts and maps. Included a transient wave anal <br />Charles Song that was incorporated into the XP-SWMM modeling <br />simulations. <br /> Redevelopment <br />Chatsworth and Pierce Butler Site BMPs St. Paul, Minn. <br />project located on a highly urbanized and impervious site. Invol <br />remediation, site grading, utilities, and parking lot/street rec <br />as well as stormwater BMPs to meet the standard s of the MPCA, C <br />and City. The design included three parking lot island rain gard <br />treatment and a dry pond for rate control. Due to concerns regar <br />pervious soil contamination, the rain gardens were designed as filtration <br />practices by underlating them with an impervious geomembrane fil <br /> Design of <br />Geranium Street Park Porous Pavement Maplewood, Minn. <br />several rainwater gardens, an infiltration basin with a porous d <br />porous pavement parking lot in the adjacent park. <br />. One of a kind <br />Storm Water Management Ordinance River Falls, Wis <br />ordinance that combined erosion control and storm water manageme <br />elements to minimize impacts to the Kinnickinnic River. The ordi <br />proposes a minimum level of impervious cover of 12% with providing <br />mitigation.
