<br />WHEREAS, S & J Partnership seeks to install a pylon (pole) sign 25 feet in height; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing on the <br />VARIANCE request on October 5,2005 and voted (7-0) to recommend approval of the request, <br />based on the findings of Section 6 of the project report dated October 5, 2005; <br /> <br />1. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, <br />to GRANT a 50 sq. ft VARIANCE to Section 1009.08E and a 5 foot VARIANCE <br />to Section 1009 .08G of the Roseville City Sign Code for S & J Partnership, 2500 <br />Cleveland Avenue, allowing the installation of25 foot tall, 150 sq. ft. pylon sign <br />on the premises. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Schroeder and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Maschka, <br />Kough, Schroeder and Klausing <br /> <br />and the following voted against: Thlan. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />2 <br />
