<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of October, 2005, <br />at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Klausing, and Council Members <br />Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, and Schroeder. <br /> <br />Council Member Ihlan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10347 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING A 2-1/2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 703.04B9 <br />AND A 70 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.016 OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY CODE FOR RICK BOSCHEE, 2808 LAKEVIEW AVENUE (PF3669) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rick Boschee (property owner) has requested a VARIANCE to <br />Section 703.04B9 (Driveways on Private Property) and 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling <br />Dimensions - Lot Width) of the Roseville City Code to allow the creation of a <br />developable residential parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: <br /> <br />SEE EXHIBIT" A" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dimensional Requirements - Lot <br />Width) requires all new single family residential parcels or lots to have a minimum of 85 <br />feet of width along a public street or right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Boschee seeks to create a parcel with a width of <br />15 feet of adj acent to Lakeview Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04B9 (Driveways on Private Property) requires a <br />driveway to have a minimum setback from a side yard property line of 5 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Boschee seeks to place a 10 foot wide driveway <br />in the center of the 15 foot wide parcel for most of its length which places the driveway <br />2-1/2 feet from the north and south side yard property lines; and <br /> <br />1 <br />
