City of Roseville 2006 Fee Schedule Investigation Fee: Work without a Permit Whenever any work for which a permit is required from the city has been commenced without first obtaining said permit, a special investigation shall be made before a permit may be issued for such work. An investigation fee, in addition to the permit fee, shall be collected whether or not a permit is then or subsequently issued. The investigation fee shall be equal to the amount of the permit fee required by this code. The payment of such investigation fee shall not exempt any person from compliance with all other provisions of this code nor from any penalty prescribed by law. Plan checking fees for all buildings, except for construction costs in R-1 and R-2 zones which do not involve new single family structures and are of less than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00), shall be sixty five percent (65%) of the building permit fee as set forth in Section 901.06 of this chapter, except as modified in M.S.B.C.
