<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of September, 2005, at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Klausing, and Council Members Maschka, <br />Schroeder, Ihlan and Kough. <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10334 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PRINCE OF <br />PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2561 VICTORIA STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH <br />SECTION 1013 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE ALLOWING AN 8,000 SQ. FT. <br />ADDITION ON TO THE EAST SIDE OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE (PF3673) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church has requested a CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT in accordance with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction <br />of an 8,000 sq. ft. worship hall addition (and other improvements) to the east side of the existing <br />church facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property (2561 Victoria Street) is legally described as: <br /> <br />SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED <br />PIN 11-29-23-21-0005 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.015 requires churches within Roseville to receive a <br />Conditional Use Permit consistent with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Prince of Peace seeks to construct a much needed <br />(larger/more efficient) worship center and ancillary improvements, all meeting the requirement of <br />Section 1004 (pertaining to churches); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 7, 2005 <br />concluding that the proposed improvements sought by Prince of Peace are consistent with the <br />criteria of Section 10 13 of the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted (6-0) to recommend approval of the <br />request, subject to 7 conditions. <br /> <br />1 <br />
