Ms. Bloom noted that staff <br />would bring the proposed design before the City Council for <br />their approval at a later date. <br /> <br />Mr. Soler reiterated the County's process, given tonight's <br />Council comments, noting that Ramsey County will continue the <br />process to put the final layout together; identify right-of-way <br />acquisitions; and receive feedback from the residents on width <br />necessary for acquisition; and will continue work out the other <br />details in anticipation of a final design to be developed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder sought clarification from Mr. Soler as <br />to consideration of placement of noise walls along the back of <br />the properties along Pascal. <br /> <br />Ms. Bloom and Mr. Soler concurred that noise wall installation <br />was discussed, and would depend on the type of the rights-of- <br />way and whether residents could agree on a single type of fence <br />that could be incorporated into the project development. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schroeder encouraged that Ramsey County and <br />City staff continue to pursue a noise wall. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Overview of 800 MHz County-wide Police and Fire <br />Communications Project <br />Mayor Klausing introduced and welcomed Ms. Sarah Mertz, <br />representing Commissioner Jan Wiessner's office, to observe <br />tonight's presentation and discussion of the 800 MHz <br />Communications Project. <br /> <br />City of Roseville Police Department Admi nistrative Sergeant <br />Randy Johnson reviewed various phases; as ~lpplicable to state, <br />county and local municipality involvement. <br /> <br />City of Roseville Assistant Fire Chief Tim O'Neill concurred <br />with the difficulties being experienced in interagency <br />communication. <br /> <br />City of Roseville Police Chief Carol Sletner reiterated the chaos <br />occurring from situations experienced during training with area <br /> <br />Overview of 800 <br />MHz County-wide <br />Police and Fire <br />Communications <br />Project <br />
