<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 12/19/05 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 29 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Consider Transtop Shelter Locations on Snelling Avenue <br />across from the Har Mar Mall <br />Councilmember Kough reviewed the letter dated December 5, <br />2005 to him from Peter Bell, Chair of the Metropolitan Council, <br />regarding consideration of the Met Council releasing two sites to <br />the City for potential Transtop sites. Councilmember Kough <br />requested Council authorization for three sites to actually be <br />considered. <br /> <br />Discussion included those sites that were problem maintenance <br />sites. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets recommended that the City Council action <br />authorize three sites for release by the Metropolitan Transit; and <br />direction to staff to work with them on release of the third site. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Klausing seconded, acceptance of the <br />Metropolitan Council's release of two bus stop location sites; <br />and authorized staff to negotiate with the Metropolitan Council <br />and Transtop for release and acceptance accordingly of a third <br />site as discussed. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets cautioned the City Council and public that <br />this wouldn't clear the entire litter problem in the area along <br />Snelling Avenue, but should be a step in the right direction. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Maschka; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Consider Revised City Prosecutor Contract <br />Kough moved, Klausing seconded, approval of the contact <br />between the City of Roseville and the firm of Jensen, Bell, <br />Converse & Erickson for prosecution attOlney services for 2006. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing spoke in support of the motion to achieve a <br />contract; but noted his intent to pursue further discussions in <br />2006 regarding the City Council's standard of review of <br />prosecution litigation issues. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough spoke In support of the motion; <br /> <br />Consider Transtop <br />Shelter Locations <br />on Snelling Avenue <br />across from the <br />Har Mar Mall <br /> <br />Consider Revised <br />City Prosecutor <br />Contract <br />
