The IPMC will: <br /> <br />o Help clarify when property maintenance is required and to what extent <br />(basically, according to nationally recognized standards). <br /> <br />o Give staff authority to assist renters (city residents) ,vho call with certain <br />healthllivability complaints where they now have no recourse. <br /> <br />o Allo,v staff to address certain building maintenance issues that it cannot <br />presently (bridging the gap between our present vague city code and the <br />state building code). <br /> <br />.
