<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 06/14/04 <br />Minutes - Page 15 <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Public Hearing and Resolution for the Evangelical Good <br />Samaritan Lutheran Society and its Expenditure of Federal <br />Funds at 563 West County Road B <br />Finance Director Chris Miller briefly reviewed the request for <br />the City to serve as a host city for tax exempt funds being <br />utilized within the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing clarified that the City's Bond Counsel had <br />reviewed the request; with Mr. Miller responding affirmatively. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing opened and closed the Public Hearing at 8:09 <br />p.m. with no one appearing to comment. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, adoption of Resolution No. <br />10224 entitled, "Resolution Consenting to the Issuance of <br />Revenue Bonds by the Colorado Health Facilities Authority on <br />Behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society." <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Ihlan, Kough and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Resolution 10224 <br />Public Hearing <br />Evangelical Good <br />Samaritan <br />Lutheran Society <br />Expenditure of <br />Federal Funds at <br />563 West County <br />Road B <br /> <br />8. Public Hearing for Liquor License at the Backyard Bar & Public Hearing for <br />Grill (formerly "The Ground Round,") 2100 Snelling Avenue Liquor License at <br />Finance Director Chris Miller briefly reviewed the request for a the Backyard Bar <br />full liquor license by this restaurateur, noting that approval & Grill (formerly <br />should be pending final review and approval by the City "The Ground <br />Attorney. Mr. Miller noted that staff was recommending Round,") 2100 <br />approval of the license, and advised that the applicant was in the Snelling A venue <br />audience. <br /> <br />Discussion included the status of the license granted to the <br />former Ground Round (forfeited); and availability of licenses to <br />the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing noted that the request was for an On-Sale <br />Intoxicating Liquor License, not an Off-Sale as stated incorrectly <br />in the request for Council Action in the staff report dated June <br />14, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing recognized the applicant and wished him well in <br />
