Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br /> <br />Consider Items <br />Removed from <br />Consent <br />Agenda <br /> <br />5.a Proclamation: Roseville 13A Baseball State Champions Proclamation: <br />City Manager Neal Beets, on behalf of the City Council Roseville 13A <br />and community, recognized and congratulated the Baseball State <br />Roseville Raiders 13A Baseball Team, wishing them great Champions <br />success at the World Series Tournament for 13 year olds <br />in Michigan. <br /> <br />A team representative provided statistical information on <br />the excellent team season and introduced team members <br />and coach members attending tonight's meeting. It was <br />noted that those players not at tonight's meeting were at a <br />Lions' Club meeting in Falcon Heights to solicit additional <br />funds for the team's trip to the playoffs in Michigan. For <br />those interested in providing funds for the trip, contact <br />may be made with Head Coach Bob Effinger at 6510-772- <br />3290. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing read and presented the proclamation to <br />the team representatives; and encouraged them to keep the <br />community posted on their continued success. <br /> <br />5.b <br /> <br />Recognition of Cub Scout Pack 31, Leslie Berry (2004 <br />Rose Parade Chair) and the Roseville Central Park <br />Foundation for Contributions to the City of Roseville <br />Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke recognized, <br />on behalf of the City Council and community, three <br />significant contributions to the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />Mr. Brokke introduced and recognized Cub Scout Pack <br />3 1, and their Scout Leader Monte Johnson, noting their <br />annual flower planting and assistance at Central Park, and <br /> <br />Recognition of <br />Cub Scout Pack <br />31, Leslie Berry <br />(2004 Rose <br />Parade Chair) <br />and the <br />Roseville <br />Central Park <br />Foundation for <br />Contributions <br />
