City Manager Beets responded that all chairs currently owned by the City were being reused; however, with the remodeling and construction doubling meeting room space, purchase of additional chairs was required in order to utilize the rooms. Mr. Beets noted that all purchases had been incorporated into the proj ect budget. Councilmember Kough encouraged staff to be conservative. City Manager Beets noted that the project remained under budget; with an existing $100,000 even with approval of tonight's Change Orders and furnishings. Maschka moved, Kough seconded, approval of general purchases and/or contracts for services as presented for the following: Vendor ItemJDescription Amount Kath Brothers Oil Extend Blanket P.O. for fuel purchases $30,000.00 S & T Office Products Chairs (26), New Conference Rooms 8,662.30 Roll Call Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. Nays: None. 4.c Approve Interim Use Permit Renewing and Expanding Temporary Classroom Facilities Serving the Family Academy Charter School Located at Advent Lutheran Church, 3000 RamUne Avenue (PF 3584) (Consent Agenda Item 3.t) City Manager Beets reviewed the request by Advent Lutheran Church for temporary classroom facilities to be used by Family Academy for approximately one year; as unanimously recommended, with conditions, by the Planning Commission.
