<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 07/26/04 <br />Minutes - Page 5 <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan sought clarification on several <br />technical issues related to the future identification and <br />make up of the applicable parcels following the <br />recombination. <br /> <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke responded that property <br />owner would work with Ramsey County to clarify the <br />parcel delineations; and further clarified for <br />Councilmember Kough that the question of building two <br />homes on the original Albertson parcel now became moot. <br /> <br />[5.1] Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, approval of <br />the request by Vernon Albertson for a recombination of <br />property located at 3103 Asbury Avenue, subject to the <br />findings and conditions listed in Section 3.1 through 3.3 of <br />the Request for Council Action dated July 26, 2004. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />3.i <br /> <br />Approve the Request of Yayun Lin for Vacating <br />Unnecessary City Right-of-Way at 1866 Huron (PF <br />3581) <br />Councilmember Kough sought clarification on the <br />property owner's intent for the property and who would be <br />the responsible party to bear the costs for the land <br />transaction. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets responded that staff was not aware of <br />the property owner's intent for the property; noting that <br />any future uses would need to conform to City code. <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott Anderson noted that property <br />transaction costs would be borne by the property owner <br />(i.e., recording fees and State and County filing fees). <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan sought clarification on the <br />ramifications and possible precedent set in vacating the <br />right-of-way. <br /> <br />Resolution 10230 <br />Yayun Lin <br />Vacating <br />Unnecessary City <br />Right-of-Way at <br />1866 Huron <br />(PF 3581) <br />
