City Council Regular Meeting - 07/26/04 Minutes - Page 6 3.k 3.1 City Planner Paschke noted that the right-of-way, while initially retained by the City, had proved undeveloped and unnecessary over the years, and created restrictions for the property owner. Mr. Paschke noted that by the City vacating the unnecessary right-of-way, this parcel became similar to others in the neighborhood. Mr. Paschke recognized one other parcel that had a similar situation, but noted that each property owner would need to make application to the City individually for consideration of right-of-way vacation. [8.1] Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 10230 entitled, "A Resolution Approving the Vacation of a 30 Foot by 30 Foot Portion of the Huron Avenue Right-of-Way Adjacent to 1866 Huron Avenue (PF 3581)." Roll Call Ayes: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing. Nays: None. Establish an Assessment Hearing Date of August 13, 2004, and Adopt a Resolution Declaring Costs for Public Works' Projects to be Assessed in 2004 and Ordering preparation of Assessment Rolls for Various Projects Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, adopted Resolution No. 10231 entitled, "Resolution Relating to Improvements P-ST-03-02-61 and P-ST-03-02-68; Declaring Cost to be Assessed and Ordering Preparation of Proposed Assessment Roll."
