<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 07/26/04 <br />Minutes - Page 8 <br /> <br />significant savings realized in the City supplying the black <br />dirt and contracting for relocating it by Imperial. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan further questioned the smoke <br />control system and code compliance issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Schwartz responded that the contractor had bid the <br />project based upon normal code interpretations. However, <br />Mr. Schwartz noted that, it came as an unexpected issue to <br />the City and the contractor, when those interpretations <br />were not in compliance with current code interpretations <br />for approval. <br /> <br />City Attorney Anderson noted that the items identified by <br />Councilmember Kough for Kendell Hardware and <br />Kellington Construction identified them as taking <br />responsibility for several items damaged and/or not <br />included in the original drawings. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, approval of the <br />following Change Orders to various contracts for the <br />City's Construction Project: <br /> <br />ContractorN end or Net Add/Deduct Amount <br />Kellington Construction Add $11,194.00 <br />M.
