City Council Regular Meeting - 01/30/06 Minutes - Page 14 Mayor Klausing recognized City Manager Beets' concerns, but noted the peculiarity of the situation, opining the need to show more prudence to alleviate neighborhood concerns. Klausing moved, Ihlan seconded, continuing this item until the February 27, 2006 City Council meeting subject to and directing staff to provide public notice regarding the revised request. Jon Forman, 2161 County Road B, Applicant Mr. Forman agreed to abide by the City Council's desire to provide sufficient notice to the neighborhood; however, expressed concern regarding verbal and written threats received by him from Mr. LeTendre; noting it was impacting the proposed project financially and in principle. Mr. Forman expressed his desire to continue to be a good neighbor, as were his parents, in the neighborhood; but noted that things change and he was unsure of the impact to the trees at this time. Mr. Forman concluded by stating that he was not interested in a lawsuit for himself or the City; and was seeking a solution for all parties. Councilmember Pust expressed her appreciation to Mr. Forman for his willingness to work with Councilmembers and the neighborhood. Mayor Klausing opined his support for the future approval of the Minor Subdivision; but recognized the concerns of the neighborhood for retaining and preserving open space. Mayor Klausing, at the query of City Manager Beets, advised that the City Council required no additional information from staff or the applicant, but that appropriate public notice be provided related to the revised request and conditions as discussed.
