<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 01/30/06 <br />Minutes - Page 16 <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan expressed her discomfort with the <br />conflicting zoning within a single project; her preference for <br />approval as a PUD. <br /> <br />Developer's Representative, Bob Barth, Bonestroo & <br />Associates <br />Mr. Barth, on behalf of the owners, recognized the difficulties of <br />the site; but noted the compromises reached and application <br />presented reflected and represented the firm's commitment to <br />remain in Roseville. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing emphasized to staff the need to ensure that the <br />storm water system and structural mechanisms were in place to <br />provide the City access to the underground system as may be <br />dictated in the future. <br /> <br />There was no one from the public seeking to comment on the <br />application. <br /> <br />Further discussion included the variance request and impacts in <br />lieu of a site plan; zero lot line requirements and uniqueness of <br />the parcel; other similar parcels within the community that have <br />zoning lines going through the middle of structures; <br />identification of a hardship due to the unique circumstances; and <br />variance from ten foot setback requirements. <br /> <br />[11.1- Public Improvement Contract] <br />Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of a Public Improvement <br />Contract between the City of Roseville and the developer, <br />Bonten, Inc., d/b/a Bonestroo & Associates, for public <br />improvements included in the Bonten First Addition Final Plat. <br /> <br />Roll Call [11.1- Public Improvement Contract] <br />Ayes: Pust; Maschka; Ihlan and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />[11.2 - Easement and Vacation Agreement] <br />Pust moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of an Easement and <br />Vacation Agreement between the City of Roseville and the <br />developer, Bonten, Inc., d/b/a Bonestroo & Associates. <br />
