Continued Public Hearing for Roselawn Avenue Street Resolution 10371 <br />Reconstruction Project and Consider Ordering Improvement Plans, Specs & Ad <br />Mayor Klausing noted that this Public Hearing was continued for Bids Roselawn <br />from the January 9, 2006 regular meeting. Reconstruction <br /> <br />City Engineer Debra Bloom provided a brief overview of the Resolution 10372 <br />2006 Roselawn Avenue Reconstruction Project. Ms. Bloom Ordering Roselawn <br />noted that approval by Falcon Heights was pending at this time; Ave. Improvement <br />and further noted that staff was recommending Option B as <br />outlined in the Request for Council Action dated January 30, <br />2006, setting an assessment rate at $28.05/foot. Ms. Bloom <br />advised that, in working with residents, they had expressed <br />interest in installing planters (cutouts) for day lilies, that would be <br />salt-hardy and provide for less impervious surface, thereby <br />softening the impact to the boulevard on the Falcon Heights side <br />of the reconstruction project, and minimally reducing project <br />
