Recognitions, Donations, Communications 5.a Proclamation of Hispanic Heritage Month City Manager Beets read the proposed proclamation. On behalf of the City Council, and residents of the City of Roseville, Mayor Klausing proclaimed September 15 through October 15, 2004 as Hispanic Heritage tv10nth in the City of Roseville. 5.b Recognition of Eagle Scout Michael St. Dennis On behalf of the City Council, and residents of the City of Roseville, Mayor Klausing recognized Boy Scout Michael S1. Dennis, of Troup 266, and his group of volunteers for their recent service project at Valley Park, located off the comer of County Road D and Avon Street, with the south trail entrance off Millwood Avenue. Mr. S1. Dennis' parents, Den Leader and Scout Master were all present for the recognition. Ken Hoxmeier, Park Maintenance Supervisor, introduced Michael, Scout representatives, and Mr. and Mrs. S1. Dennis, noting that Michael was a candidate for an Eagle Scout, and briefly summarized Michael's project and effective organization of volunteers in completing the proj ec1. Michael provided a verbal and visual presentation of the Valley Park Trail Restoration Project completed this spring with 257 volunteer hours provided by 33 volunteers, in addition to financial donations from citizens.
