<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 09/13/04 <br />Minutes - Page 8 <br /> <br />Hearing on September 27, 2004 to consider the application <br />for an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Cellars <br />Wines & Spirits, 1149 Larpenteur Avenue, for the year <br />ending December 31, 2005. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Ihlan, Kough, Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />5. Recognitions, Donations, Communications <br /> <br />5.a Proclamation of Hispanic Heritage Month <br />City Manager Beets read the proposed proclamation. <br /> <br />On behalf of the City Council, and residents of the City of <br />Roseville, Mayor Klausing proclaimed September 15 <br />through October 15, 2004 as Hispanic Heritage tv10nth in <br />the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />5.b <br /> <br />Recognition of Eagle Scout Michael St. Dennis <br />On behalf of the City Council, and residents of the City of <br />Roseville, Mayor Klausing recognized Boy Scout Michael <br />S1. Dennis, of Troup 266, and his group of volunteers for <br />their recent service project at Valley Park, located off the <br />comer of County Road D and Avon Street, with the south <br />trail entrance off Millwood Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. S1. Dennis' parents, Den Leader and Scout Master <br />were all present for the recognition. <br /> <br />Ken Hoxmeier, Park Maintenance Supervisor, introduced <br />Michael, Scout representatives, and Mr. and Mrs. S1. <br />Dennis, noting that Michael was a candidate for an Eagle <br />Scout, and briefly summarized Michael's project and <br />effective organization of volunteers in completing the <br />proj ec1. <br /> <br />Michael provided a verbal and visual presentation of the <br />Valley Park Trail Restoration Project completed this spring <br />with 257 volunteer hours provided by 33 volunteers, in <br />addition to financial donations from citizens.
