Call Roll and Adopt Agenda 6:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Klausing called the regular meeting of the Roseville City <br />Council to order at 6:00 p.m. City Hall Council Chambers, on the <br />above date and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Voting Order) Roll Call <br />Councilmembers Kough, Maschka, Ihlan, Schroeder, and Mayor <br />Klausing. Public Comment about City Issues <br /> <br />Public Comment <br /> <br />A. Bill Chandler, 26-year resident, Roseville Firefighter <br />Mr. Chandler, in his capacity as a resident and a <br />firefighter, appeared to speak in support of maintaining the <br />full-time positions of Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief. <br />Mr. Chandler spoke in defense of these positions in <br />response to previous comments made by Councilmember <br />Schroeder during 2005 budget discussions to "consider <br />elimination of the full-time paid Fire Chief and Assistant <br />Fire Chief positions and get back to a fully-staffed <br />volunteer department." Speaking on behalf of Roseville <br />firefighters, he provided comments and expressed <br />concerns of the firefighters. Mr. Chandler provided a <br />firefighter's historical perspective; noted changes in the <br />community's population, delTIographics, amenities and <br />transportation; changes in the fire service industry and <br />services; emergency management and hazardous materials <br />
