City Council Study Session -10/18/04 Minutes - Page 28 Finance Director Miller advised that, if that was the information being requested, staff would provide that level of information. Discussion continued as to whether to list by fund or department. Finance Director Miller advised that staff could provide both. Mayor Klausing summarized direction to staff to provide the additional fund and department requested for purchase card, as well as continuing check purchases; and to provide the Council with internal policies and procedures used for disbursements at their earliest convenience. Mayor Klausing noted that review of these internal policies and procedures would become part of the City Council's organizational meeting on an annual basis in future years; and clarified that the Council was aware that the additional reporting requirements of staff would cost an additional estimated $1,000 monthly. Councilmember Schroeder suggested that Finance Director Miller and Mr. Sands meet one-on-one, rather than formal written communication, to resolve Mr. Sands' issues once and for all. Mayor Klausing noted that Finance Director Miller had apparently responded to all of Mr. Sands' rather detailed data requests to-date. Finance Director Miller noted that he had spent considerable time to-date responding to Mr. Sands' requests for public information over the last two years. Mayor Klausing noted that staff would continue to provide data to the public in accordance with data provisions. 8.
