REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> Date: 3/26/12 <br />Item No.: 7.d <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Approve No Parking Resolution- County Road C-2 between Hamline Avenue and <br />Lexington Avenue <br />B <br />ACKGROUND <br />1 <br />The City is completing construction work on County Road C-2 between Hamline Avenue and Lexington <br />2 <br />Avenue, which is part of the City’s Municipal State Aid (MSA) system. <br />3 <br />4 <br />State Aid standards do not allow parking on both sides of 2 lane roads narrower than 38 feet. County <br />5 <br />Road C-2 is currently 32 feet wide. We are narrowing portions of the street to 28 feet. No parking is <br />6 <br />allowed on these street segments.
