<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 1/27/03 <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />p.m., with no one appearing for or against; and closed the <br />Public Hearing at 7:51 p.m. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch briefly <br />reviewed the meetings and public hearings held prior to <br />tonight's hearing; and advised that the revisions to the plan <br />are available electronically or hard copy by contacting <br />City Hall, with a revised plan available at City Hall for <br />citizen review. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Public Hearing for Proposed Surcharge for the County <br />Road C Reconstruction and Adoption of Resolution <br />Directing Xcel Energy to Underground Utilities on <br />County Road C; and Discussion of Possible Electric <br />Franchise Fee <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn opened the Public Hearing at 7:52 <br />p.m., and called for a show of hands from the audience on <br />those wishing to speak. <br /> <br />City Manager Beets presented two (2) written comments <br />as bench handouts that were received from: Jackie <br />Schroeder (e-mail) and Robert Willmus, 2932 Hamline <br />Avenue N . (letter) and are entered as part of this record. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn moved and determined the motion <br />seconded adopting a Resolution entitled, "Resolution <br />Directing Xcel Energy to Underground Overhead <br />Utilities on County Road C - Long Lake Road to <br />Snelling Avenue." <br /> <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz and Assistant Deb <br />Bloom, along with Xcel Energy representative, Ms. <br />Colleen Jurich, were available to respond to questions of <br />the Council and public. <br /> <br />Staff and Ms. Jurich provided the additional information <br /> <br />County Road C <br />Reconstruction <br />Project/Xcel <br />Energy <br />Underground <br />Utility Resolution <br />and Proposed <br />Electric Franchise <br />Fee <br />
