<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 3/31/03 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />Kough moved, Schroeder seconded, approval of the <br />General Concept Planned Unit Development (PUD) Plan <br />for a mixed-use, planned unit development, consisting of <br />an 18,000 square foot automobile repair facility and a <br />7,200 square foot office warehouse facility, subject to the <br />conditions listed in Section 8 of the project report dated <br />March 31, 2003. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, Maschka and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />It was noted for the record that the request for General <br />Concept approval and all conceptual/preliminary plans, <br />along with the requested zoning change, become effective <br />only after the approval of the final plans and recording of <br />the PUD agreement. <br /> <br />VIII. Reports and Recommendations <br /> <br />A. International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. <br />49 Contract <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, approval of the 2003 - <br />2004 International Union of Operating Engineers Contract <br />Terms with the limited 2004 renegotiation clause Letter of <br />Understanding set forth as follows: <br /> <br />"If the City finds that its budget situation for 2004 <br />presents a deficit unless city costs are reduced, the <br />contract may be reopened for renegotiation of 2004 <br />wage adjustment/layoff implementation only, to <br />constitute this reduction in costs. This renegotiation <br />may be done at the written request of either party." <br /> <br />and further directed staff to prepare the necessary <br />documents for execution by the Mayor, the City Manager <br />and the representative for the International Union of <br />Operating Engineers. <br /> <br />Reports and <br />Recommendations <br /> <br />I.U.O.E.
