Ken Florian, 440 Glenwood Street <br />Mr. Florian encouraged balance in the community and <br />among the City Council, and encouraged limiting time for <br />public comment in an effort to discourage unconstructive <br />criticism of the City's elected officials and staff. Mr. <br />Florian opined that, all in all, the City Council was doing a <br />good job was not expected to know everything, and that <br />while he may not personally agree with all <br />Councilmembers all the time, they were each dedicated to <br />doing what was best for the City of Roseville. Mr. Florian, <br />identifying himself as "part of the silent majority," further <br />opined that repetitious accusations of "flip flopping," and <br />continual cutting people down, whether Councilmembers <br />or staff, served no productive purpose and was tiresome, <br />and encouraged those perpetual complainants to "leave the <br />Council alone to do their job. Mr. Florian concluded by <br />further opining that staff did an outstanding job, and <br />specifically recognized and offered his personal thanks to <br />City Manager Beets, Community Development Director <br />Dennis Welsch, and Public Works Director Duane <br />Schwartz. <br /> <br />G. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn opined that, thankfully, the City Council <br />had provided for a long history of public comment. <br /> <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn alleged that inaccurate information had <br />been brought forward at the previous Council meeting by a <br />"political group" related to Dr. David Schultz and ethics <br />issues, and referenced the video taped meeting of May 20, <br />2002. <br /> <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn also opined that Councilmember Kough <br />had been treated unfairly in his concerns expressed related <br />to the parking issues at and around Northwestern College; <br />alleging that, in his review of Council minutes, the City <br />Council, while having discussed signage, had not voted on <br />installing signage, but that staff had taken it upon <br />
