Ann Berry, 1059 Woodhill Drive <br />Ms. Berry added to her personal comments to those of <br />Acting Mayor Maschka regarding former Mayor June <br />Demos; and provided an additional tribute to her memory <br />in her service as an advocate of women's interests. <br /> <br />Ms. Berry also questioned when the public would be made <br />aware of the Board of Appeals addressed in the recently- <br />adopted International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) <br />where it addressed a minimum of three people, other than <br />employees of the City; and sought additional information in <br />the near future regarding the process; timing; and <br />appointment process. <br /> <br />C. John Goedeke, 2674 Virginia Avenue <br />Mr. Goedeke concurred with comments previously made <br />regarding Ms. Demos and her ability to serve as a catalyst <br />to get people involved in local government; and recognized <br />her planning and organization in the creation and vision of <br />the OVAL. <br /> <br />D. Polly Franke, former Councilmember <br />Ms. Franke thanked the City Council and staff for <br />preparing the Proclamation recognizing Ms. Demos; and <br />noted her participation in the greater metropolitan <br />community as a dedicated public servant who set a great <br />example and left an impressive legacy; opining that <br />Roseville is what it is today due to her influence. Ms. <br />Franke asked that staff provide a copy of tonight's meeting <br />to Ms. Demos' family. <br /> <br />E. City Manager Beets, June Demos Proclamation <br />City Manager Beets read, and presented for individual City <br />Council signatures, the proclamation recognizing Ms. <br />Demos' service to the community and the numerous <br />initiatives and activities she had influenced. <br /> <br />Mr. Beets noted that under the City of Roseville's signature <br />
