<br />Regular City Council Minutes - 6/02/03 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />A. entitled, "Consider Kenneth Berger's Request for a <br />Variance at 3063 Victoria Street North (PF 3465)," had been <br />withdrawn by the applicant. <br /> <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn advised that Finance Director Chris Miller <br />would be presenting Ordinances and Resolutions Agenda Item <br />X. A. entitled, "Citizen's Request to Revise the City's <br />Massage Therapy Code." <br /> <br />III. Presentations <br /> <br />A. Consider Street Profile Alternatives for County Road <br />C (Phase II) from approximately the East Snelling <br />Service Drive to Oxford Street <br />Ramsey County Engineer Dan Soler reviewed the <br />preliminary proj ect proposal for reconstruction of County <br />Road C, Phase II, east of Snelling for an improved <br />roadway with geometrics (turn lanes and medians) at <br />some locations as it connects to the Phase I portion of the <br />County Road C project. <br /> <br />Mr. Soler reviewed the areas of the roadway slotted for <br />concrete and bituminous materials depending on the data <br />surveyed regarding the type of commercial traffic on <br />those particular sections of roadway. Mr. Soler discussed <br />proposed stormwater improvements; attempts to <br />consolidate access where applicable and prudent; and <br />preferred streetscape elements, which would be at the <br />discretion of the City of Roseville and cost-shared for the <br />project. Mr. Soler reviewed potential project impacts, <br />including accident reduction amenities; left-turn lanes and <br />possibly some traffic cameras or technology to monitor <br />traffic flow. <br /> <br />Mr. Soler provided three options for typical sections and <br />displayed design concept plans for each respectively: a <br />three lane roadway; a five lane roadway; or a five lane <br />roadway with shoulders; with all three options providing <br />for a pathway on both the north and south sides of County <br />Road C.
