City Council Regular Meeting - 02/27/06 Minutes - Page 12 Applicant Mike Herstine, General Manager, Big City Tavern and Banquet Center Mr. Herstine reviewed the agreements for overflow parking with facilities on adjacent properties on the north, south and west sides of their property; in addition to a cooperative working relationship with Midway Ford on the south side of the property, to accommodate future needs if necessary . Councilmember Kough thanked the applicant for their presence in the City and expressed enthusiasm for this new venture. [8.1] Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, adoption of Resolution No. 1 0379 entitled, "A Resolution Approving a Conditional Use Permit for Big City Ventures, Inc. and Oops Theater, in Accordance with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code, allowing "Live Entertainment" within a Portion of the Lower Level Banquet Area of the Restaurant at 2801 Snelling Avenue N (PF 3709)." Nays: None. 3.k Approve Agreement for Police & Fire Training at 952, 960 and 978 Parker Avenue (former Consent Item 3.k) City Manager Beets noted that when properties are scheduled for demolition, the City typically works with the property owner to allow for tactical training for the City's Fire and Police Departments. Mr. Beets noted that, in this instance, the buildings would be used for training, but not burning. Councilmember Ihlan questioned the notice process of surrounding neighborhood properties before the agreement was reached; noting a similar case in the past where a house was burned, making the neighborhood unhappy.
