<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 02/27/06 <br />Minutes - Page 20 <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing spoke in support of the motion; opining that the <br />current request did meet minimum lot requirements as pointed <br />out by staff and City Attorney Anderson, and his personal <br />interpretations and observations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kough sought consensus for tabling action <br />tonight to allow him to personally review the property; opining <br />that he was uncomfortable voting on the request tonight and if <br />necessary would abstain. <br /> <br />City Attorney Anderson noted that subdivision requests were not <br />subject to the 60-day rule. <br /> <br />Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, tabling action until the March 13, <br />2006 regular Council meeting to allow for further Council <br />review and consideration. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing requested clarification via roll call vote by City <br />Manager Beets. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Ihlan and Maschka. <br />Nays: Pust and Klausing. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Consider Cheng Zheng's Request for a Minor Subdivision at <br />2291 County Road B (PF 3601) <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly reviewed the request of <br />Cheng Zheng for approval of a Minor Subdivision in accordance <br />with City Code, Section 1104.04E, to allow for creation of an <br />additional legal conforming residential parcel from the property <br />located at 2291 County Road B. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke noted staffs review of the broader area (County <br />Road B to 1-35W and Trunk Highway 280 to Cleveland Avenue) <br />for other lot divisions; the uniqueness of the area and subsequent <br />creation of 70 new single-family residential lots or parcels from <br />former larger parent/original lots or parcels over the last 30-40 <br />years. <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke noted that the applicant was in attendance at <br />tonight's meeting; and further noted staff s recommendation for <br />approval of request. <br /> <br />Cheng Zheng <br />Minor Subdivision <br />2291 County Rd.
