Introductions/Public Comment Invited <br /> Commissioners and staff will be introduced. Public participation and public comment is <br /> encouraged. <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes of the March 6, 2012 Meeting <br /> Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of March 6, 2012. Please be prepared to approve <br /> or amend. <br /> Requested Action: Approve/amend minutes of the meeting of March 6, 2012. <br /> 3. Introduction and Oath of Office for New Commissioner <br /> Nolan Wall was appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission by the City Council on <br /> Monday, March 19, 2012. Chair Etten will officially swear in Nolan. We welcome him to the <br /> Commission and thank him for his interest in Roseville Parks and Recreation. Nolan and all <br /> Commissioners will briefly introduce themselves and their background. <br /> Requested Commission Action: Welcome to Nolan Wall and brief introduction of all <br /> Commissioners. <br /> 4. Community Engagement Task Force Report <br /> Greg Simbeck and Randall Doneen serve on the Human Rights Commission Community <br /> Engagement Task Force as representatives of the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> Simbeck and Doneen will be prepared to report on the latest progress on this effort. <br /> Requested Action: Commission discussion and feedback. <br /> 5. Park and Recreation Renewal Program <br /> No new information on the litigation status to report at the time of this packet formulation. The <br /> City is waiting for the decision of the appellate court. Staff will be prepared to report any new <br /> information at the meeting. <br /> No future meetings have been scheduled. <br /> Requested Action: Hear update. <br /> 6. Directors Report <br /> Included in your packet is a draft of the City Council Work Plan summary for your awareness, <br /> review and discussion. The plan is focused on city wide efforts and department strategic <br /> plans and Commission work plans will be reflective. <br /> 7. Other <br /> 8. Adjournment <br />
