<br />City Council Study Session - 03/20/06 <br />Minutes - Page 10 <br /> <br />Mounds View School District; opining that the District was a <br />victim of past contamination of the land. <br /> <br />Bob Willmus, 2932 Hamline Ave, south of project across <br />street <br />Mr. Willmus spoke in opposition to the future land use requiring <br />a Planned Unit Development (PUD); expressing his concern <br />regarding the density of either proposal, and their not meeting <br />existing standards for lots of 10,000 or greater square footage; <br />the need to conform to the established neighborhood; and <br />consistency with front yard setback requirements to those <br />established homes. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Discuss Storage of Vehicles on Streets <br />Counci1member Kough requested that this item be considered at <br />this time to accommodate those audience members wishing to <br />address the Council regarding the storage of vehicles on City <br />streets. <br /> <br />Ms. Suzanne VanDeusen, 2017 Wheeler Street, had provided a <br />written complaint regarding abuse and enforcement of vehicles <br />on City streets; and sought resolution from the City Council. <br />Ms. VanDeusen was present and summarized her concerns. <br /> <br />Counci1member Kough requested that this item be referred to the <br />recently-appointed Council Parking Subcommittee, consisting of <br />Counci1members Kough and Ih1an, for their recommendation to <br />the City Council for a solution to these types of ongoing <br />situations. <br /> <br />Counci1member Ih1an thanked Ms. VanDeusen for bringing the <br />matter to the Council's attention; opining that this served as <br />another example of a gap in the City's current parking ordinance <br />and should necessitate the Council's review of that ordinance, <br />seeking comparisons with other communities and their <br />ordinances. <br /> <br />Counci1members Kough and Ih1an agreed to undertake a <br />comprehensive review of the City's parking regulations and <br />report back to the City Council. <br /> <br />Storage of Vehicles <br />on Streets <br />
